As one of the first new buildings at the New York Aquarium in decades, the Ocean Wonders: Sharks! exhibit was an opportunity to connect the Aquarium to the Boardwalk on the outside while educating the public about the vital role sharks play in local and global ecosystems.
I was a Project Architect on this project, overseeing all exterior envelope details, including the ‘Shimmer Wall’ kinetic sculpture, while at ESKW Architects.
